Not Made To Sit
She was bad at relaxing yet fully aware
So she treated herself to a 'sitting-down' chair.
She didn't put books on it, papers, or lamps,
Or musical instruments, baggage, or amps.
She placed it, quite empty, right next to the wall
In the knowledge that when she was tired it would call
And she'd sit in it, comfy, just next to that shelf
With nice books on, and it would be filled with herself.
But, poor girl, she sat there and couldn't relax.
She just couldn't sit still, she just had to face facts
As the light it was dawning, reality hit...
Some people, let's face it, are not made to sit !
